Shaped Dispensing Tube with MaxiDose Technology

Plasticum developed a technology to manufacture injection moulded tubes. This technology offers unlimited design possibilities and releases the constraints of the current production processes. It allows designers to consider non-cylindrical shapes, integrated closure and dispensing valve, In-Mould-Labelling, embossing and textured surfaces.

Capitalising on experiences in the past, Plasticum now materialised a rectangular embossed tube with over cap and integrated dispensing valve. This tube design highlights only some of the options for differentiation. The valve function is based on the MaxiDose technology, to gain user-convenience and good functionality. The over cap closure is used for storage and travelling, whilst, thanks to the self-closing valve, the tube can be placed on the bathroom shelf without over cap. An embossed logo is also just one of the many possibilities.

MaxiDose technology
Plasticum developed a proprietary silicone self-closing valve solution with a patented technique, allowing for optimum dosing control. The silicone material has a memory function, ensuring long term seal quality as well as the opening/closing mechanism. Good temperature resistance is another advantage to give excellent dispensing opportunities for a wide range of viscosities and product applications.
