Plasticum Group announces that Ben Mennink (44) has been appointed as Chief Commercial Officer (CCO). Per 01 February 2009 Ben will be responsible for all commercial activities within the company, including the Innovation & Development activities and consequently these departments will report directly to him. The CCO position is a newly created position within Plasticum Group and will ensure a better coordination of the commercial activities of the operating companies and will lead to increased value to our customer base.
Ben Mennink has a wealth of experience and expertise in the rigid plastics packaging market. Prior to his appointment Ben was Managing Director of Plasticum Ede for a period of 6 years. In that role he worked closely with customers on the development and introduction of some very successful innovative packaging products. Under his leadership the turnover of Plasticum Ede has increased and several very flourishing business lines have been introduced in the market. We are convinced that Ben’s experience and drive will lead the commercial organisation to the next level.
