back to news

Horizontal spray actuator Jessica is the latest in the range of Plasticum’s spray products including Insertless Spray (IS) technology. With its elegant appearance it extends the existing ecological and cost effective IS range. Jessica was developed based on the latest customer requirements in the Personal Care industry. The new product is presented at Packaging Innovations in Birmingham (24-25 February) and at Aerosol Forum in Paris (9-10 March).

Jessica is an elegant one-piece spray actuator with the Insertless Spray technology, designed and developed by Plasticum. It has a diameter of 34 mm and fits on the valve cup of aluminium and tin plate aerosol cans. The fashionable look makes Jessica highly suitable for Personal Care applications. The actuator has a gloss surface finish and can be supplied in any desired colour. Also in translucent material Jessica is visually appealing. The spray actuator can be offered with different over caps to further customise the design.

Spray actuator Jessica is environmentally friendly and recyclable as one part. The ergonomically shaped finger recess area has been positioned conveniently and transfers the actuation force effectively to the aerosol system. Thanks to the efficient production and automated processes, this spray actuator guarantees a cost-effective solution.

Jessica is fitted with the Insertless Spray technology, a proprietary spray solution with a patented technique, integrating both the actuator and insert. The spray orifice of the button is positioned just above the stem to optimise the control and performance when activating the aerosol. A special chamber and channel design stimulate the acceleration of particles into a swirling pattern.
